Cheram College of Industry and Mining officially started working in 2011 on a land of 83,350 square meters with an educational space of 5,700 square meters on two floors and was opened in November of the same year. This faculty is one of the 6 faculties of Yasouj University, it was established following the approval of the presidential visit. In the beginning, this faculty was the manager of statistics, mechanical engineering and civil engineering. With the obsolescence of the associate degrees following the approval of the Ministry of Science, it was established based on the development of undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Therefore, the license for the field of mapping engineering was obtained in 1401 and the admission of students began in October of the same year.
